Day 15 Sunday 4th
September Departure at Hanover Airport The Russian team will fly away at 21:30. So we will meet at about
19:30. Hopefully everybody will be there on time. There will be a big goodbye
scene, but some of us will meet again soon – next year. It was a very pleasant exchange – again. I would like to thank every
single member of the Russian team, especially the teachers Ludmilla Geym and
Margarita Kuptsova for beeing so easy going, cooperative, and patient. Your
are great people and I / we hope you spent a nice time here in Germany. We
tried to show you a bit of our cities and sights, of our lives and routines,
our feelings and opinions, ideas, schedules, habits, mistakes, and culture.
You also taught us a lot about you and your country already. So again, thank
you. I also say a big THANK YOU to the German team. You were great, too. An
exchange always means a lot of improvisation, waiting, getting organized,
sometimes frustrations. But on the other hand it enriches your life so much.
I really hope you could make this experience. Of course I say THANK YOU to all your families who took care of our
guests. This also means a lot of organization, patience, understanding,
commitment, and sometimes inconveniece. But again, it offers also many new
views and visons. I hope they enjoyed it, too. I hope everybody is happy or at least satisfied with our exchange. I know everybody is a bit tired and exhausted now. I am sure everybody has somehow grown in soul and heart. Take
care! Matthias
