Day 12 Thursday 1st
September Hildesheim sight-seeing-tour This day we had on excursion around the city. We walked nearly trough
the whole city from our school to the “Kehrwieder” tower and then back to the
Hickup monument. The first sight we saw was the Cathedral with the rosebush.
Somebody told that it looks like Hogwarts. The rosebush with its huge
branches impressed us greatly. After that we moved to our next station – St.
Godehard’s Church. But we had a look only from the outside. Then we saw the
memorial on the “Lappenberg”. It was a very big cube with small figures.
These figures told us about the history of jewish people. Before we went
around the city by ourselves we went to the “Kehrwieder” tower to take a
foto. There is a legend about this tower that if you take a picture with this
tower you’ll be back. I hope it’s a true legend and I’ll be able to come back
